Interiors Colour Forecast 2026

Dulux has just released its Colour Forecast for 2026. The three palettes are enticingly named Ethereal, Elemental and Evoke and they’re a guide to how we’ll be embracing colour in our homes in 2026.


Each palette reflects the moods, values and lifestyles underpinning the way we want to live in the year ahead.


Lauren Treloar, Colour and Design Manager of the Dulux Colour Team, notes that:

“Each palette has been thoughtfully designed allowing consumers to mix and match shades with ease by staying within the confines of each palette. This flexibility empowers people to personalise their spaces in a way that truly reflects their style and lifestyle.”


ETHEREAL


As the name suggests, this palette is composed of gentle colours with mid tone hues reminiscent of the pastels from earlier years. In essence it is a reflection of our search for calmness and serenity. The soft colours providing a soothing backdrop to allow for quiet and the opportunity to be still and reflective.


We are seeking wellness as the antidote to our stresses from busy modern life and the soft tones in Ethereal are designed to create spaces that feel nurturing and restorative.

ELEMENTAL


The colours in Dulux Elemental provide a sense of strength and quiet when current times are defined by noise and distraction. Inspired by the raw honesty of brutalist design, it encourages a slower, more deliberate way of living with clarity and balance taking centre stage.


This is a style that feels enduring yet effortless, grounding the home in calm restraint.

Elemental is a palette of tonal warmth, based on soft whites and neutrals and enriched by the inviting tone of Caramel Sundae and Coffee Dust. The fiery Red Mane, Condiment and the deep aubergine of Ticking are striking additions to the collection.

EVOKE


The exciting Evoke palette celebrates character and creativity. It's perfect for those who live boldly and true to themselves and want their home to echo that same eclectic spirit. The array of colours allow for a refined expression of individuality and personality.
